In the world of special BMW colors, many colors have become famous in their own right. Names like Dakar Yellow and Laguna Seca Blue are colors that, when their name is said, can immediately conjure up images in an enthusiast's mind- but Santorini Blue is so rare, it takes a real BMW obsessive to recognize it. Somewhat similar to the later Laguna Seca Blue, Santorini Blue was a special order color, available on the E34 5-Series, E31 8-Series and very few E36 3-Series. It has since become one of the most sought-after colors on those generations but is so rarely seen that many people still don't know about it. During the entire run of E90 M3s, only 22 were produced in this color through BMW's Individual program and it is a stunning compliment to the subtly aggressive shape of this generation M3.

Many companies have special divisions that allow some customers to select special features ranging from interior trim to unique exterior paint finishes. BMW's division is known as Individual and has been helping clients customize their vehicles since 1992 and the e90 generation M3 has some of the most unique specifications.

Originally ordered to BMW of Langley, British Columbia, this Santorini Blue M3 is one of just 14 delivered to Canada and it remained there until joining a large BMW collection in Scottsdale, AZ in June of 2021. In addition to the stunning Santorini Blue paint, the interior isn't just ordinary Novillo extended black leather- with a Sonderpolster option on the build sheet, this car features special Santorini Blue contrast stitching. This adds a little dash of color to the interior and makes it even more unique than many of the other Individual build cars. The coveted Competition Package has been added which gives the car a 19” set of Y-Spoke wheels and Electronic Damper Control which makes the car an even better performing vehicle and it makes it look sportier as well. Additionally, this car has been fitted with the Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Technology Package, Enhanced Premium Sound System and more. The front end has been covered in paint protection film to keep the vehicle looking nice and the paint is largely original with just one minor repair completed shortly after delivery. It is no secret that the E90 M3 is one of BMW's greatest drivers cars and a true modern classic. This Santorini Blue example will provide all the enjoyment you could hope for from an M3 with added collectibility thanks to the ultra unique exterior and interior specification.
